“ This place is a hidden gem! Meats were succulent and tender, perfectly seasoned and smoked and plentiful. The bbq sauce was just right for me. Not too tangy, not too bold and the right amount of sweetness. The pulled pork was moist and tender, chicken was juicy and the brisket was smoked to perfection. Corn bread was fresh and fluffy, coleslaw was refreshing but the beans were a little too spiced for me. Overall still a great bbq/smoke house restaurant! We were the only ones there but didn't expect it to be busy considering it's out in the industrial area and that we came on a Tuesday dinner. Service was super friendly and the place was clean and comfortable. There was more than enough to take home for another meal! ”
“ Picked out the restaurant on a whim as we were traveling through Kamloops. I was a little bit hesitant, because we're pretty deep in the industrial park... But let me tell you; Worth it. As a BBQ enthusiast myself, I often find myself disappointed with BBQ joints. It's so often overcooked and then just warmed and cooled and reheated endlessly. Not here Everything was smoked to perfection. But not just that. You can taste the deep flavor in every bite, and in every drop of sauce. We're going to stop here on the way home for sure. Also, the service! Our waitress was Johnny on the spot the whole time we were here, all by herself. Cups were never empty and she was always right there giving it 110%. ”
“ Omg! This place is a hidden gem in Kamloops. My husband and 2 step sons were looking for a place to go for dinner and he found Valhalla on “you gotta eat here” and YES! Everyone has to try it! The service was super friendly, atmosphere was calm and peaceful and the restaurant in general is decorated so unique! The food, I can’t even put it into words other than amazing!!!! We were even talking about our meals the next day! Soooooo good!!! My husband and 1 step son had the hound, I had the chicken macwich and our other step son had the Heathen (which was massive)! We were even treated to their gravy which we all agreed was unbelievable!!!! ”
